RDM CAN Keypad

A sealed CAN keypad with RGB backlit keys and interchangeable 15 mm icon inserts. Made by Blink Marine (PKP series) and supplied with an RDM logo insert at no charge.

Inserts

Each key takes a 15 mm insert, so the icons can match what the buttons actually do in your car rather than a generic set. Your keypad arrives with an RDM insert free. More inserts are being added to the shop. If there is an icon you want, tell us.

Using it with the RDM-7

If your ECU already runs the keypad (MaxxECU or Link G4X), the RDM-7 listens on the same CAN bus. On a MaxxECU, the RDM Studio desktop app sets the keypad up to match what MTune shows, and checks each button with one press.

Coming soon: set any key to change dash pages, dim the screen or start recording, with a tap, a hold and a double tap per key. This arrives in firmware 1.6.0, a free update, and is not out yet.

Haltech, MoTeC and Emtron use their own keypads, so a Blink keypad on those cars needs a CAN gateway. If you are not sure what your car needs, ask us first.

Connector

Deutsch DT04-4P on flying leads. Pin 1 CAN Low, pin 2 CAN High, pin 3 ground, pin 4 +12 V.
