RDM-7 Digital Dash7-inch CAN dash, configured in a browser tab
$599 →
A matte anti-glare film cut to the seven-inch screen on the RDM-7. It takes the hard reflection of a bright sky and spreads it into a soft haze, which is what you want on a display you glance at rather than stare at.
Why matte and not clear
Clear anti-reflective film gives slightly crisper text, and it hands back a distinct mirror image of whatever is behind you. In a car that is usually the windscreen and the sky. Matte trades a little sharpness for a screen you can still read at four in the afternoon pointed west.
What you get
One protector, cut to our own drawing of the dash, and one application kit.
