Optional Extras
Raw CAN data,
made readable.
The RDM-7 connects to your vehicle's CAN bus and turns raw data into a dashboard you actually want to look at. Replace a cluster of analogue gauges, swap layouts between road and track, log raw data to SD, share configurations with the community marketplace, push firmware updates over WiFi — and trigger CAN messages from on-screen buttons when you need them.
Built for performance vehicles, track builds, drift cars, off-road rigs and anything with a CAN bus worth watching.
Everything the RDM-7 does
out of the box.
Nine core capabilities — engineered for the people who actually drive their builds, not for spec sheets.
Configure from any browser
Open a tab on your phone, laptop or tablet. Drag widgets, set alarms, map signals, push to the dash. No software install, no Windows requirement, no licence.
WiFi over-the-air updates
Every new feature, every fix — free for the life of the unit. No cable, no flashing tool, no return-to-base.
128 signal channels
Read any standalone or factory CAN bus. Auto-detects bitrate on first boot. DBC file import for anything custom.
Transmit on CAN, too
Map any on-screen button or toggle to a CAN message — turning the dash into a programmable keypad for ECU functions, body controllers, aux outputs and relays.
Plug-and-play ECU presets
Haltech, Link, MaxxECU, MegaSquirt, ECUMaster, Ford Falcon, Toyota — preset profiles ready to drop in.
Onboard data logging
Records to microSD at selectable 1–200 Hz. Standard CSV format — open in Excel, Python, or any tool you already use.
13 widgets, unlimited layouts
Meters, bars, RPM bar with shift light, indicators, alerts, panels, gauges, images, text, buttons, toggles, arcs — as many presets as your SD card holds.
800×480 IPS touchscreen
Capacitive multi-touch, smooth ~50 fps rendering. Auto-dims from a CAN headlight signal when the vehicle exposes one.
Mobile-first companion app
The same browser-based RDM Studio works equally well on a phone — set up your dash from the driver's seat.
Built to last,
tuned to perform.
Designed and assembled for daily-driven and track-driven cars in equal measure.
In the box.
Everything you need to wire it in and start configuring — no extra add-ons required.
Built for any car
with a
CAN bus.
Who it's for
Anyone running a modified, standalone-EFI, or purpose-built car who wants a proper digital dashboard without the price tag of a race-team unit.
Street builds, drag cars, track days, drift cars, project cars, 4WDs, kit cars, classics with modern ECUs swapped in — if it has a CAN bus, the RDM-7 belongs on it.
Vehicle compatibility
CAN bus has been standard on most cars since around 2008, so the hardware will physically connect to almost anything modern. The hard part is the data: factory ECUs use proprietary signal layouts that need to be reverse-engineered for every make and model.
That's why our standard-vehicle preset list is shorter than the standalone-ECU list — we're constantly expanding it.
Don't see your car? Ask us →Display + CAN transmit only. The RDM-7 reads, displays, logs, transmits and shares data — it does not tune your ECU.
